Paul Jenkins

Paul’s education and experience provide a particular understanding of building conventions, design choices, and how these variables contribute to function, efficiency, aesthetic, and the test of time. With an education that includes a BA in Philosophy from The University of Montana, University of Washington Construction Management Program, and graduation from the Inspection Training Associates building inspection program, Paul is aptly suited to manage custom builds, renovations, and light commercial projects. His practical experience includes: extensive work on custom home builds and remodels in Seattle, the Olympic Peninsula, Idaho, and Montana; commercial, light commercial, and tenant fit-out projects; four years of shop experience making studio furniture and architectural cabinetry; community build project management; non-profit collaboration; historic renovations for state agencies; estimating; and design. Paul has also performed hundreds of home inspections in the region and served as an expert witness for litigation.

This unique skill set has produced an underlying realization and a core belief for the work endeavored by Confluence Design Build. Good design coupled with high craft and quality materials create enduring projects that are desirable for generations. Achievement of this outcome is maintained by superior communication and organization.
