Confluence Design Build

LLC TLC

This project was an ambitious transformation of a historic duplex bungalow in the downtown Helena BID. The space had been altered to a commercial bungalow in the 80’s. The design was dated and ill suited for the needs of the client. The new owner of the building required a more dynamic space that was fully integrated for single commercial occupancy. To this end, all bearing walls on the main level were removed during the demolition phase of the project. The resulting beam grid was used to establish points of reference for other architectural components and created an opportunity for an open flow.

The project was completed in conjunction with the design work of Anna Lindstrand of Mosaic Architecture located on downtown on Last Chance Gulch.
